·         Responsible for planning, forecasting and analysis in CU/country for Revenue through Direct Contribution to EBITDA and select Balance Sheet and Cashflow accounts and metrics.

·         Support Integrated Business Planning by providing objective data, analysis, insights, reconciliation.  Challenging assumptions to bring discipline, direction and accountability for the Commercial Unit.

·         Primary lead to bridge financial data for CU across Crop Protection and Seed businesses as well as different approaches from legacy companies

·         Overarching, fundamental responsibility for control and compliance in the CU

·         Drive strategic business improvements & cost synergy within CU/Country Finance function

·         Drive business results and resource optimization across the CU

·         Act as liaison between Business and all Finance competences

·         Conduct ad-hoc analysis with regional & platform teams as required

·         Intra-month monitoring and period-end reporting for CU financial results

·         Manage and lead CU finance support; acquire/develop talent for Commercial Finance with input for other relevant competencies/subfunctions

·         Ensure connectivity with leading industry and finance associations and external stakeholders (e.g. local tax bureau, JV Chinese partners) as necessary

·         Degree holder in Finance management or related discipline.  MBA is a distinct advantage

·         Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in MNCs including at least 3 years in senior managerial positions

·         Highly analytical and commercial focus, going beyond the traditional functions of finance, driving insights and strategy across a broad range of business issues

·         Strong sense of responsibility, pro-active and self-motivated

·         Dedicated, detail-minded, well-organized and fast paced

·         Excellent communication and people management / networking skills
