General Introduction
Executive search firms normally focus on certain key professional industries such as Financial Services. Consultants are based in corporate offices, and initial contact with candidates is usually by telephone. Candidates will only be invited to meet consultants as and when required. Consultants will foster relationships with clients through face-to-face meetings.
Recruitment consultant provides an important contribution to businesses and the economy. Through market advice, networking and a complex selection process, consultants help professionals with the relevant skills and experience, for roles that empower a company to grow.
There are two sides of recruitment - candidate attraction and client acquisition, with the overall objective being to match the best-fit candidate to each client's job vacancies.
Client Acquisition
Recruitment consultants work with client companies, building relationships in order to understand and meet their recruitment needs and requirements, in the immediate and long term.Candidate Attraction
Recruitment consultants attract candidates through direct approaching, networking, database mining and through referrals. Consultants screen, interview and run background checks of candidates, before finally matching the most suitable candidate to their client's vacancy. -
